DMV Beneficials is a national organization dedicated to providing the highest quality beneficial insects to the houseplant and home garden community. We offer two methods for ordering beneficials: through a local chapter delivered to a central pickup location or through this webshop delivered directly to your home!

For successful pest management, it’s important to stay away from purchasing beneficials through Amazon, live sales platforms, or disreputable sellers. Our beneficial insects are shipped overnight straight from the insectary where they are reared — Beneficial Insectary — reducing transit times and temperature fluctuations caused by long-term storage or repackaging.

We also advise on plant pest identification, provide targeted treatment plans, and connect growers with a community of plant enthusiasts who believe in informed pest management using beneficial insects. Shipping Policy:

Shipping is a flat rate of $25. Free shipping on orders over $200! Overnight shipping is required for all beneficial insects. Orders are shipped either Mondays for Tuesday delivery, Tuesdays for Wednesday delivery, or Wednesdays for Thursday delivery. If you have a delivery date preference, please include it as a note with your order. Otherwise, after you place your order, you will receive an email with your scheduled shipping date. We try to ship orders the same week they are placed, however they are subject to the ordering deadlines below. We deliver to all states except Hawaii.

Order Deadlines:

Orders placed by Tuesday at 5pm EST will be delivered by Thursday of the same week (unless otherwise noted on product page).

Orders placed after Tuesday at 5pm EST will be delivered either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of the following week.

Shipping Exceptions:

Same week delivery is NOT available for Cyrptolaemus Larvae or Californicus sachets. These products must be ordered by Wednesday at 3pm EST for delivery the following week.

Holidays, severe weather, and carrier delays may affect shipping times.

Refund Policy:

Due to the variables inherent in pest treatment and management, we do not offer refunds for treatment failure. 

We do guarantee overnight shipping and live products, and we will replace any beneficials free of charge if there is a shipping issue that impacts their quality. 

However, we are not responsible for the quality of shipments left unattended by the delivery service. Please make arrangements if you cannot be home at the time of delivery.

Any quality issues or concerns must be reported within 24 hours of receipt by email: DMVb@dmvbeneficials.com. Please include photos and video of items in question in your email. Do not discard any products before checking with us first.
